Benzac (Benzoyl Peroxide)

Usage indications

Benzac 20g is used for acne treatment.

Application mode

Use Benzac in accordance with your doctor indications. Check drug manual to obtain exact information on dosage. Moisture infected area. Apply  using your hands and carefully wash infected areas. Wash with water and dry. Wash your hands right after Benzac usage.

Do not miss any Benzac intake. During single miss of doze intake it is necessary to take the doze as soon as possible. If the time of missed doze intake corresponds to the time of next doze intake the drug intake should be missed. Consult with your doctor on any issues related to Benzac intake.

Drug class and mechanism of action 

Benzac is ceratolitic drug with antibacterial action. This drug efficiency lies in its antibacterial, peeling and drying peculiarities. 

Missed doses

Do not miss any intake. During single miss of doze intake it is necessary to take the doze as soon as possible. If the time of missed doze intake corresponds to the time of next doze intake the drug intake should be missed.

Storage

Store this drug at room temperature in a tightly closed container away from the sources of heat and light.

Do not use Benzac if:

• you are allergic to any of Benzac component

Before using Benzac components:

Some medical preparations can interact with Benzac. Be sure to inform your doctor or pharmaceutist on any of the following diseases or situations:

• pregnancy, plans to get pregnant or breast feeding
• intake of any drugs sold with or without prescription, vegetable preparations or food add-ons
• allergy to drugs, food or other agents

Some medical preparations can interact with Benzac. Anyway, some specific interactions had not been detected for this moment.

Consult your doctor on the interaction of Benzac with other drugs you take. Moreover ask your doctor consultation before starting, stopping or changing the dosage of any drugs you take.

Possible side effects

All drugs can cause side effects but most of the people do not feel their influence or this influence is insignificant.
Consult with your doctor in case if any of these most wide spread side effects persist or irritate:

• dryness, feeling of warmth, irritation, itching, desquamation, redness, twinges.

Contact your doctor immediately in case any of the following serious side effects arise:

• heavy allergic reactions (rash, nettle rash, itch, breathing difficulties, chest constraint, mouth, face, lips or tongue edema), increased burning,  itch, irritation, desquamation, skin redness or sickliness, extreme dryness and edema.
